Biography

As Legal Practice Manager, Malissa Eng oversees the firm’s day-to-day operations and works to ensure efficient, client-focused service. She draws on a decade of experience as a patent attorney in guiding the firm’s management. In this role, she works to align firm operations with long-term goals and client needs.

Experience

Malissa rejoined Kaufhold & Dix in 2025 after practicing at law firms in Connecticut and Minnesota. She has experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications, evaluating patentability and third-party patent rights, and advising on patent strategy, patent portfolio management, and intellectual property agreements. Her legal work experience spans a wide range of technologies, including robotics, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals.
