Attorney Brendan Dix has been a partner in the Kaufhold & Dix Patent Law firm since 2012. Mr. Dix drafts and prosecutes patent applications, and advises clients on intellectual property issues and strategies, including those related to patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
As a Deputy Prosecutor, Mr. Dix was involved with undercover drug interdiction training, misdemeanor and felony trial prosecution, juvenile delinquency matters, preparation and presentation of law enforcement officer educational programs and advised law enforcement officers on-site in methamphetamine manufacturing warrant executions.
Mr. Dix drafted patent applications for law firms as an independent contractor.

Mr. Dix served as an Adjunct Professor teaching various courses in the paralegal studies program
Founding Partner handling general legal assistance and litigation in areas including but not limited to intellectual property, criminal law, and family law. Also served as a part-time public defender in the juvenile and probate court sector.

Mr. Dix worked for an IP firm handling intellectual property exclusively. His areas of experience include but are not limited to client consultation, patent searching and opinions, drafting and prosecution of patent applications, and patent infringement litigation support.
